As a newly formed non-profit organization, we are grateful for our partnership with Rock4Sight as our first fundraiser. The visionaries behind Rock4Sight, a popular rock concert fundraiser, are John Alofs and Bob Stein, with the planning assistance of Denise Mogil.

Rock4Sight took place at the Hard Rock Café in New York Times Square during Vision Expo East on April 2, 2022. The bands who performed during the rock concert are volunteer musicians in the industry, comprised of four different ensembles: The Base Curve Band, Punktum Remotum, Retrospex, and Visionary.

Funds were generated through corporate donations and ticket sales. National Vision had signed on as the event’s lead Diamond Sponsor.

It was a very special moment when the Rock4Sight co-chairs John Alofs, Bob Stein, and planning coordinator Denise Mogil, presented the funds raised, a check for $146,000 to ECN Purpose.

This generous donation will be a vital part in helping ECN Purpose kick off its Mobile Eye Health program by creating the resources to develop and secure mobile eye exams for those in need.
